European Day of Languages in Uzice Grammar School, Serbia

Students and foreign language teachers of Uzice Grammar School marked EDL 2018 in two different ways. There was a film programme called ‘The Film Potpourri’, within which six popular feature films about school and teenage life were played from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They were: 'Perdona sit e llamo amor', 'Мой парень – ангел', 'Bianca come il latte rossa come il sangue', 'Monsieur Lazhar', 'Tschick', and 'Dead Poets’ Society'.

Four second-graders also made a face-in-the-hole board illustrating the diversity of languages learnt in our school and some of the EDL symbols. The board is still standing in one of the school’s halls, where students enjoy taking photos of themselves
